Summer at the Malahat Skywalk Near Victoria

With its elevated TreeWalk set deep in nature, panoramic views on the 10-storey Spiral Tower plus thrills along the mesh Adventure Net and eight-storey spiral slide, this award-winning attraction is a highlight attraction on Vancouver Island.
Adding to the overall experience, Malahat SkyWalk is introducing an extensive summer line-up including, a variety of family focused activities, a new nature trail, Tower Top Yoga, local food favourites & experiences, and the popular Summer SkyWalk Music Series. For the first time, visitors will also be able to take advantage of a free Victoria shuttle service, making it even easier to travel to/from the attraction.
Offered from June through to September, here are all the amazing events, activities, and new offerings that visitors can expect to experience with Malahat SkyWalk this summer:
Enjoy Serene Mornings with Tower Top Yoga – A unique opportunity to connect with nature on a whole other level. With exclusive access to the attraction prior to opening (8:00am – 9:00am), participants can enjoy the peacefulness of the morning, incredible unobstructed views, and breathe in the fresh ocean air. Offered every Wednesday and Sunday from June 26 to September 8. Admission is $10 for passholders and $40 for non-passholders (this includes entry into the attraction). Limited spots available.
Get Up Close with Nature’s Stunning Birds of Prey (included with admission) – A local favourite, The Raptors will be onsite every Thursday and Saturday from June 29 to September 7 (between 9:30am – 3:30pm) with flying demonstrations and hands-on experiences. Guests will be able to get up close and interact with species such as Eagles, Hawks, Owls, and Vultures.
Tower Plaza – Soak up the Summer SkyWalk Music Series every Sunday from 12:00m to 2:00pm through to September; and savour dining options such as gourmet hotdogs, deluxe sandwiches, and daily specials. There’s also an array of local beer, wine, and cider from across BC along with slushies, artisanal coffee, and dairy-free soft serve cones and sundaes from Softys.
Sasquatch and More
There’s a new seven-foot driftwood Sasquatch sculpture by local artist, Tanya Bub, located in the gathering area. Visitors will want to make sure to snap a pic or selfie to capture this rare sighting of a life-sized Sasquatch. The new sculpture is the latest addition to Malahat SkyWalk’s collection of driftwood art installations of blue herons, owls, and cougars that can be spotted throughout the TreeWalk and experience.
This summer there will also be new musical games along the TreeWalk, interactive puzzles, and a small slide for those under five (in the play area), gives little ones the opportunity to take part in all the fun.
