Downtown Vancouver
📍 Vancouver Art Gallery & šxwƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square
Enjoy free shows on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 beginning at 12:00pm with last performances at 7:30pm. Georgia Street stage performances by Kassa Overall, Odario, Jason Winikoff Hot 5, Parlour Panther, Itamar Erez Quartet, Juana Molina, Peggy Lee Band, Blue Moon Marquee, George, and Y La Bamba.
Club Series
The Club Series includes programming at 6 live jazz music venues including La Fabrique St. George Winery, Frankie’s Jazz Club, Guilt & Co., Tyrant Studios, Vivace on the Drive, and Water St. Café. Each club presents a roster of musicians and ensembles scheduled throughout the week of June 21 to 30, 2024. Tyrant Studios also hosts free late-night open jams from June 24 to 27,2024 in association with Coastal Jazz and The Infidels Jazz. Jams kick off with a host’s performance at 9:30 pm before opening the stage up to visiting artists and local players at 10:30 pm. Artist hosts include Sharon Minemoto Trio (June 24), Kevin Romain’s Salience Network (June 25), Tiny Pyramids (June 26) and Teresa Marie and The Three (June 27).
Granville Island

Join Journeys to the Bandstand – a conversation with author Chris Wong, hosted by Will Chernoff on June 21st at 4:00pm. Free Granville Island shows June 22 to 30 include performances by Biboye Onanuga Quartet, Sister Jazz Quintet, Cat Toren/John Korsrud Quintet, Sam Wilson Trio, Taras Luka Sextet, Chris Gestrin Trio Celebrates Shirley Scott, and Sharon Minemoto Quartet.
Additionally, by night, Ocean Artworks transforms into an outdoor venue with a licensed bar, food, and late-night DJ sets. Ticket shows (19+) begin at 8:30pm with tickets available for purchase at the door (10$). Artists include Garret T. Willie (June 21); Feven Kidane Sextet (June 22); Scott Smith’s Adventures in Pedal Steel (June 23); Bellbird (June 26); Empanadas Ilegales (June 27); Janette King (June 28); John Gross Campbell Ryga Quintet (June 29); and the Pasquale Grasso Trio featuring André Lachance and Andrew Millar (June30). Free late night DJ Sets begin at 10:30pm and include DJ Paisley Eva (June 21); Odario Williams After Dark (June 22 – 23), and DJ O Show (June 28 – 30).
📍 Performance Works Granville Island
Watch free shows at Performance Works June 26 to 30, 2024 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm with performances by Kjetil Mulelid Trio, Konrad Agnas Rite of Passage, Dan Gaucher Quartet, and Vancouver Youth Jazz Orchestra.
📍 Late Night Innovation Series at Revue Stage
Enjoy Late Night Innovation Series at Revue Stage free shows starting at 11:30pm from June 28 to 30, 2024 with performances by Brian Horswill, Karlis Silins, Gard Nilssen; Sakina Abdou, Shahzad Ismaily, Dan Gaucher, and Earth Ball.
West Vancouver & North Vancouver
📍 North Shore Jazz Series
The North Shore Jazz Series offers free and ticketed shows from June 21 to 30, 2024 including Mary Ancheta Quartet at West Vancouver Memorial Library (free, June 21); Lamia Yared at Civic Plaza (free, June 22); Terminal City Brass Band at Lynn Valley Village (free, June 23); Regina Carter and Kenny Barron, Luca Benedetti Trio and Marois Vocal Project: An Homage to Dave Brubeck at the Blueshore at CapU (ticketed, June 25 – 28) ; Mimosa at Civic Plaza (free, June 29); and Scott Smith and the Midnight Riders: Allman Brothers Celebration at The Shipyards (free, June 30).
