Looking for Western Canada’s Next Home Stylist
The search for Western Canada’s Next Home Stylist is on! Marketplace Events, owners and producers of some of the biggest home and design shows in Canada, and Urban Barn are scouring the Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton areas for the next big name in design, entertaining and all things lifestyle.
If you think you could be Western Canada’s Next Home Stylist, create an audition video (mobile video is fine, and encouraged) and then upload your entry to the competition website Thursday, April 30, 2015. From there, three finalists will be selected and notified by Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The winner will be announced in August.
Whether you’re a blogger, designer, lifestyle or entertaining enthusiast, you’re invited to submit your audition video. If you’ve got a reputation for throwing buzz-worthy parities, creating unforgettable spaces, and styling incredible Instagram snaps, they want to hear from you. This could be your chance to launch a hobby into a career, expand your audience, and make some amazing industry connections.
The winner will receive a $10,000 prize package and launch into stardom as the official spokesperson for Marketplace Events at this year’s Vancouver Home + Design Show, the Calgary Home + Design Show and the Edmonton Fall Home Show. They’ll also make connections with Western Living magazine and receive a shopping spree from Urban Barn.
