Italian Day on the Drive
Italian Day on the Drive, Vancouver’s largest cultural street festival, returns June 14th transforming Little Italy into a lively, 14-block festa with delicious food, live entertainment, artisanal vendors, and cultural showcases.

Italian culture and community pride take centre stage with this year’s theme Campione, honouring all who rise to the occasion with strength and spirit, highlighting that when we come together as a community, we all win.
Enjoy live entertainment, DJs, fashion shows, cultural performances, and street activations that bring The Drive to life all day long. There will be family-friendly games, creative activities, and interactive experiences for all ages, including soccer-inspired fun and carnival classics.
The Pasta-Eating Contest is a lively showdown celebrating Italy’s love of food and friendly competition, and everyone can savour exquisite Italian bites perfectly paired with a curated selection of wines, craft cocktails, and refreshing beverages on offer across the festival site.

Recently, Vancouver City Council passed a motion for a one-time grant to fund Italian Day on Commercial Drive. The festival society was seeking $60,000 as a city-wide agreement with FIFA stripped the festival of vital sponsorship revenue by taking over local street banner advertising spaces on Commercial Drive.
