West End’s Jungle Room Launches New Bar and Culinary Program

  • Where: 961 Denman Street, Vancouver
  • When: Now open Sunday to Thursday, from 5:00pm – 11:00pm and Friday & Saturday, from 5:00pm – 1:00am
  • Details: West End’s hidden oasis for drinks and globally-inspired dishes, is excited for their launch of its new cocktail and culinary program. Led by an award-winning bar team and Top Chef Canada runner-up Billy Nguyen, the concept invites guests to sip, indulge and escape the ordinary inside its cozy jungle nook. Examples of their drinks include: Old Pal (Canadian whiskey, Campari, dry vermouth), the classic Gimlet (gin & house lime cordial) or Skin of a Killer (blueberry, thyme, white rum, Cointreau, cava, edible paint).

DownLow Chicken at Batch Kitsilano Pool

  • Where: 2305 Cornwall Ave., Vancouver
  • When: Now Available, on Tuesdays through Fridays 3:00pm to 10:00pm and Saturdays – Sundays 12:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Details: The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation is celebrating the first anniversary of its partnership with Batch at the Kitsilano Pool concession with the launch of a new collaboration with DownLow (DL) Chicken and a 60-seat expansion of the licensed patio. With local food, drinks and live music overlooking the North Shore mountains, the patio has become an example of how thoughtful partnerships can enhance public spaces. Now, the concession features menu offerings from DownLow Chicken, known for its bold, Nashville-style fried chicken. The expanded menu includes a variety of DL Chicken classics, including the OG Sando and DL Tenders, as well as new options such as Burrito on the DL, the SWagyu Dog and the Kits All-Beef Burger.

Mister Artisan Ice Cream Marks 9 Sweet Years with Paragon Tea Room Collab

  • Where: Mister (1193 Robson St) and Paragon Tea Room’s CF Pacific Centre
  • When: July 5th to August 5th
  • Details: Mister is celebrating its 9th anniversary with an exuberant Matcha Party in partnership with Paragon Tea Room. This milestone event invites guests to indulge in an exclusive menu of imaginative matcha-forward creations, available for a limited time only. Guests will be treated to four exquisite treats crafted to capture the essence of ceremonial-grade matcha and Mister’s spirit of dessert innovation. Paragon Matcha Ice Cream is only available at the Robson location.

Botanist Canada’s 100 Best Dinner Series

  • Where: Fairmont Pacific Rim, 1038 Canada Place, Vancouver
  • When: Thursday, July 10th, 2025, starting with a reception at 6:00pm
  • Details: For one night only, Botanist at Fairmont Pacific Rim is pleased to host the Vancouver edition of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants’ annual dinner series. The dinner, beginning at 7:00pm, will showcase Canada’s premier chefs, seasonal Canadian ingredients sourced from coast to coast and vintages from the private cellar of BC’s Phantom Creek Estates. Led by Executive Chef Hector Laguna and Chef de Cuisine Jayden Kresnyak, they are welcoming exclusive culinary guests to collaborate with.

Garden Dinner Series at the Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver

  • Where: 900 Canada Place, Vancouver
  • Details: The Garden Dinner Series launched on June 19th, and there are just two more dates this summer: July 24th and August 21st, each dinner offers a thoughtfully curated multi-course and locally inspired menu from Executive Chef Harris Sakalis, alongside bespoke wine pairings from some of British Columbia’s most celebrated wineries. ‘The Bear’ Pop-Up Dinner at PICA

  • Where: Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts, 1505 West 2nd Ave #101, Vancouver
  • When: Wednesday, July 24 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Details: The Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (PICA) is bringing the heat once again with the third edition of its wildly popular ‘The Bear’ Pop-Up Dinner, inspired by the Emmy-winning FX series. Join Chef Lian Cosby, Chef Ben Kiely and a team of rising culinary stars on Wednesday, July 24 for a one-night-only, multi-course dining experience that pays delicious homage to the high-stakes world of Chef Carmy Berzatto.   • Details: Victor’s Level Six rooftop patio is hosting an intimate, seated dinner this summer. The Starry Sake Soirée features a curated five-course tasting menu with premium sake pairings, celebrating the best of the season—think vibrant summer vegetables, seafood and rich Australian Wagyu. Brewery & the Beast Vancouver

  • Where: Concord Pacific Place, 811 Carrall Street, Vancouver
  • When: Sunday, July 27th
  • Details: Vancouver’s ultimate outdoor culinary festival, Brewery & the Beast, returns on Sunday, July 27, for another year of “All You Can Enjoy” meat, beer and music. The festival has a stacked lineup of more than 60 top culinary talents for open-flame cooking, premium beverages and summer vibes. Returning for the 12th year, they continue to maintain their commitment to showcasing and supporting local farms and ranches, with all proteins served at BATB being 100% Canadian and sourced from producers who raise their animals ethically and sustainably. Boots & BBQ Fest

  • Where: Downtown Vancouver
  • When: July 20th, 2025, 1:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Details: This summer, The Narrow Group and The Festival Company are teaming up to throw a country festival at City Centre Artist Lodge. The Boots & BBQ Fest presented by JR Country bringing back the great vibes of last year’s Ribfest Vancouver – but this time to shine a light on BBQ masters from the Lower Mainland. Foodies and live music lovers can enjoy slow cooked ribs, brisket, pulled pork and more from master smokers Rosie’s BBQ & Smokehouse, Yo Bones, Rebel Rebel BBQ and Guerilla Q. Steamworks Brewing will also be featured.
    • Tickets are on sale now for $10. The event will support the LIfted Organization and the work it does supporting the mental health and well-being of at-risk youth.

Vancouver Ice Cream Festival

  • Details: This fest offers specialty frozen treats to help guests beat the heat at over 30 participating locations, including Beaucoup BakeryKiller Ice CreamGlenburn Soda FountainWhisk Matcha Cafe, and many more. This year’s festival includes 10 new vendors joining the summer festival for the first time.
