  • Where: Great Lawn at VanDusen Botanical Garden (5251 Oak St, Vancouver)

    • Garden admission is included with Spring String tickets and allows guests the opportunity to explore VanDusen Botanical Garden’s 55-acres before each concert.

Back by popular demand, Low Strung (the classically trained cello ensemble from Yale University) will captivate audiences at the gardens with their contemporary renditions of modern hits from artists like The Beatles to Amy Winehouse and more, reimagined entirely on cellos.

Late May typically showcases some of the best florals of the season with highlights like the Rhododendron Walk, golden laburnum trees, and violet wisteria. Blending botanical beauty with modern renditions of classical pop and rock songs, the event mirrors the refined setting of a Bridgerton garden party. As with previous years, attendees are encouraged to dress in costumes and Regency-era attire.

In addition to the florals in bloom, visitors can also stroll through the fresh floral mannequins of this year’s Fleurs de Villes: Downton Abbey (on display from May 23 to June 1, 2025) exhibit, presented by Oakridge Park. New this year, the 2025 Fleurs de Ville show is included with garden admission or membership.

Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or low chairs, as formal seating is not provided. Mr. Arancino, Coco Molinillo, BistrotVan, and Chai Wagon will offer a variety of food and beverages for sale.
