BC Place will host Canada’s first-ever professional women’s soccer match on April 16th as Vancouver Rise FC kick off their inaugural Northern Super League season against Calgary Wild FC.

Vancouver Rise FC’s home games will move to their permanent location at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby for the rest of the season.

Swangard Stadium has been a pillar of soccer in the Lower Mainland for more than 50 years. From local and provincial competitions, to Canadian national teams, Vancouver 86ers, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Whitecaps FC 2, TSS Rovers, and League1 BC finals, the venue has long been a home for the soccer community.

The NSL will feature a 25-game regular season schedule from April to November, followed by playoffs and a National Championship in Fall 2025.

Tickets for the first match BC Place are available now, along with season passes. Individual tickets will be on sale soon.

Yesterday the team’s Sunshine Authentic Jerseys were revealed and they’re now available for purchase in the online shop.
