“When I moved to Vancouver in 2020, I was lucky to meet so many incredible people, including members of Rainbow Refugee Canada,” organizer Jaylene Tyme (Canada’s Drag Race Season 5) wrote on Instagram. “I’ve always wanted to give back through charitable work, and since I know so many talented performers in the city, I decided to organize a variety show to showcase their excellence.”
100% of proceeds from the evening will support Rainbow Refugee. The Vancouver-based organization promotes safe, equitable migration and communities of belonging for people fleeing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or HIV status.
