Published on Main Five-Year Anniversary Menu

  • When: January 6th to February 9th
  • Where: 3593 Main Street, Vancouver
  • Details: To celebrate five years of Published on Main and over 2,000 dishes from chef Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson, this Michelin star restaurant is bringing back a few of the most beloved menu items. Each week for five weeks, guests will be able to retry dishes dating back to 2019, in successive order.
    • These options include Prawn Toast with black garlic, shiitake and shiso; Potato with tobiko, iceberg and kewpie; Agnolotti with fresh cheese and farmers sausage; original Schnitzel with zucchini and roasted yeast; the Pacific Octopus with sweet chilli supreme; Sweetbreads with honey hot and St. Agur creme; Burn Morel Sopressini with herb creme; Bunny Crepe with wild mushroom blanquette; and Charred Ice Cream with raspberry and rye.

Heritage Restaurant Partners with Chef Will Lew and MAMAintheKitchen to Host Lunar New Year Charitable Dinners

  • When: Sunday, January 19th and Monday, January 20th
  • Where: 4242 Main Street, Vancouver
  • Details: Welcome the Year of the Snake with an exciting chef collaboration supporting the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and revitalizing historic Chinatown, hosted by Heritage Restaurant and Bar. In the spirit of celebration and giving back, guests are invited to begin their evening at 6:00pm and indulge in a four-course seated dinner spanning 13 dishes that honour the cultural richness and culinary heritage of Lunar New Year – as well as the cultural influences from each chef. For the first time in Vancouver, importers like Clearsips, Massey Wines & Spirits, Sansorium and Soft Crush will be joined by local makers like Strange Fellows Brewing, Edna’s Cocktails and ONES+ Okanagan wines, to showcase the best alcohol-free wine, beer, spirits and packaged cocktails. This group has been assembled by local sommelier Kurtis Kolt and is supported by the team behind DownLow Burgers (providing snacks at the event) and Drive Canteen, which will have a pop-up bottle shop on site.   • Details: Now in its 23rd year, Dine Out Vancouver festival goers can look forward to a tasty lineup of special menus from local chefs, unique culinary experiences, and a full schedule of delicious events. This year has the largest number of participating restaurants to date with more than 400 restaurants from the North Shore to downtown, through Richmond and beyond, dishing up menus in fixed price points ranging from $20 to $65 per person, plus a new $100 category for an exclusive pair of MICHELIN Guide starred restaurants.
