Homes For The Holidays returns to its spectacular setting at UBC’s Cecil Green Park House for one weekend in November to dazzle with holiday displays and inspiration, with all proceeds benefitting the young people in Take a Hike Foundation programs.

Over 30 interior designers and creatives will be lending their talents to this stunning event, with new additions this year like the Boutique Boulevard, where guests can purchase beautifully curated decorations for their own trees.

Following last year’s success at Cecil Green Park House, this year’s event promises to top expectations once again. Inspired by the mansion’s heritage, guests will be taken back to the roaring ‘20s, celebrating the heyday of Cecil Green’s history. Meanwhile, the Conservatory promises to serve up a tropical holiday brunch and the Library will have guests travelling to the future with an avant-garde holiday transformation.

After touring the exquisitely decorated rooms, wander outside to the covered and heated Terrace of Trees overlooking the gorgeous gardens at Cecil Green Park. Here visitors will be encouraged to linger and admire twenty sponsored trees, all beautifully decorated by designers and creatives. Also on this terrace, the popular Silent Auction features a carefully curated selection of items for inspired holiday shopping. And be sure to pick up a handmade wreath and spread festive cheer from your doorstep.

Meet this year’s highly anticipated featured designers

  • Ami McKay of Pure Design, named one of Canada’s Top Five Interior Designers by Chatelaine magazine and currently filming Vancouver Reno with Magnolia Network.

Back by popular demand, they are ringing in the 2024 holiday season with jazz bands, choirs, and solo performances including the talented Rabecca Talbot.

Talbot started her musical career singing alongside Michael Bublé at the opening of “Swing” at the Stanley Theatre. She has performed all over Canada and the US and lent her vocals to the legacy project of Vancouver-based composer, Joan Beckow. Recently, her very accomplished career came full circle when she starred alongside her husband in the popular, “Crazy for you.” You may also recognize her partner as Love It or List It Vancouver host Todd Talbot who will also be in attendance.

Space is limited so purchase your tickets now, and be part of something truly special as we come together for a charitable celebration that will leave you inspired and filled with the joy of the season.
