A few more details about the experiences this year:
Echo: Homestead takes visitors inside the homestead as the haunted house becomes a living entity from the malevolent force of darkness, distorting perception. The sets have been meticulously redesigned with elements imported from across the world, including illusions that will have guests feeling as though they have escaped into another dimension. This exclusive haunt only allows a limited number of groups to enter each night to ensure an engaging experience.
Forsaken: The Way Down takes human fears to terrifying new levels as guests are faced with overcoming their phobias on ‘the way down’. Whether it is arachnophobia (fear of spiders), coulrophobia (fear of clowns), or autophobia (fear of being alone), this touch haunt blurs the lines of reality and nightmare. Should the phobias become too daunting, guests can utter the safe word ‘chicken’ and stop the interactions.
The iconic ‘Scariest Corn Maze in Canada’ returns as The Kept: Slaughterhouse, the event creators were inspired by the iconic horror film, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. They have intensified Agatha’s dark spirit by creating frightening new sets, adding new interactive elements, and by increasing the height of the corn stalks to have guests feeling engulfed by the towering stalks. Agatha’s spirit has the rows feeling alive as the spirits of darkness watch and approach everyone they encounter.
