Outdoor Pools

Coquitlam is home to three outdoor pools! Visit the City’s Outdoor Pools page for admission information and hours of operation.

Eagle Ridge Outdoor Pool: As seen on Diary of a Wimpy Kid. This 25-metre pool offers eight lanes, located in City Centre. This year Eagle Ridge Pool is even more accessible than ever with the addition of a 10-metre long ramp to help those who need entry into the pool via a more gradual slope.

Spani Outdoor Pool: This eight-lane, 25-metre pool is at Mundy Park, which is also an idyllic location for a tree-covered scenic walk after cooling off.

Blue Mountain Wading Pool: This knee-deep wading pool is ideal for younger kids, free to use, and located at Blue Mountain Park.

Indoor Pools

Coquitlam also has two indoor pools if you want to escape the sun.

City Centre Aquatic Complex: This aquatic centre features a separate wave pool with a slide, rope swing, lazy river and overhead water spray features, an Olympic-sized lap pool, hot tub and more.

Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex: This modern complex has a 25-metre lap pool, leisure therapy pool and more.

Spray Parks

There are nine spray parks scattered throughout the city, for a quick refresh or splash-filled visit with the family. Don’t forget the sunscreen!

Feel the Wind on Your Face

Catch a cool breeze with these activities.

West Coast Amusements: This fan favourite is coming back to Coquitlam Centre from August 6 to 14, 2021. Spend a day on classic rides like the Scrambler or the Ferris Wheel and then cool off with yummy fair food like a shaved ice or lemonade.

Go for a Ride: Cycling has never been more popular and with more than 109 kilometers of bike routes in the city, plus amazing mountain bike trails, you’ll want to spend time on two wheels.

Indoor Activities

Get out of the sunshine and into some air conditioning with these indoor options.

Climb Base5: Learn a new skill or simply have fun trying at Metro Vancouver’s largest climbing gym.

Crash Crawly’s: This air-conditioned indoor playground has tunnels, bridges, ball pits and slides – hours of fun for the kids.

Zone Bowling Centre: Yes, the bowling centre has reopened! They offer 5- and 10-pin lanes, pop-up bumpers for younger players and automatic scorekeeping.

Ninja Tag Coquitlam: New to Coquitlam and the only one of its kind in Canada, Ninja Tag is the latest gamified experience to reach Metro Vancouver. Check out this multi level indoor arena with friends and family.

Cineplex Cinemas Coquitlam and VIP: If you’ve missed going to the movies, now is your chance to sit back and enjoy the popcorn. See what’s on the big screen now.

Hard Rock Casino: It’s been awhile but the Hard Rock Casino is open once again for some grown up fun.
