Details: Join Visitors’ Choice Magazine as the film and tourism industry comes together to celebrate the 92nd Academy Awards at an exclusive screening, dinner and gala in the beautiful 360 Vista Ballroom located on the 20th floor of the Vancouver Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront. Make a red carpet entrance, enjoy an exclusive three course prix-fixe dinner prepared by Executive Chef Edmond Yee. The silent auction to benefit local causes.
The Rio Theatre’s Oscars Screening Party

Details: Get ready for the best buttery popcorn Vancouver has to offer, trivia, an Oscar contest, as well as prizes for Best Dressed, Best Acceptance Speech, and more! Come in your finest (or maybe just recycle that bridesmaid’s dress…) for a chance to prance our red carpet and win a prize for your efforts.
10th Annual Oscar Party at Cinema
Where: Cinema Public House (901 Granville St, Vancouver)

Details: Hosted by Carmen Cruz from 99.3 CFOX with prizes for best-dressed, pick em’ sheets, and Oscar-themed cocktails crafted by award winning mixologist Trevor “TK” Kallies.
Bells and Whistles
Where: 3296 Fraser St, Vancouver

Details: Fraserhood beer hall Bells and Whistles will roll out the red carpet and give cinephiles a chance to watch the 2020 Academy Awards live on the big screen when it hosts its second annual ‘A Big Night at the
Oscars’ event. Tickets are $10 per person and offer the full red-carpet arrival treatment with free popcorn, a paparazzi-inspired photo shoot and an advance voting ballot listing the nominees in all 24 major categories. The guest with the most correct guesses will win half the pot, with the remainder donated to charity.
West End Oscar Party
Where: Gordon Neighbourhood House (1019 Broughton, Vancouver)
When: Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 3:30pm to 8:30pm
Details: Doors will open for red carpet coverage, followed by the main show at 5:00pm. This event is by donation, and admission is limited. Each ticket includes a bag of fresh popcorn with warm butter, and a cold drink.
The event will include an Oscars ballot (due by 4:45pm), and film trivia with prizes throughout the telecast. There will also be prizes for best dressed (we have plenty of tuxes, gowns, and outfits in The Attic Thrift Store located upstairs which will be open until 2:00pm). The West End Oscars Party is open to everyone including kids, however our venue is subject to capacity. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
