The first time I walked into MUJI on Robson Street I was so impressed by the goods offered that I believe I posted on my Instagram story that it was my new favourite thing ever. Eco-friendly, low-cost, good quality products are the foundation on which MUJI has always prided itself, and I was pretty excited when they opened up in my neighbourhood!
MUJI in Japanese, translates as “no-brand quality goods.” MUJI was founded in Japan in 1980 and now has more than 800 stores around the world, carrying more than 7,000 items MUJI expanded to Canada in 2014, with the opening of Toronto’s Atrium location (Yonge and Dundas). After opening three additional stores in Ontario, the company focused on British Columbia in 2017 with the Metropolis at Metrotown store in Burnaby and the Robson Street store in Vancouver.
Back to School Savings
With a wide array of stationery, study desks, organizers and more, MUJI is also a great Back to School shopping resource.
Until September 8, students and faculty get 10% off all purchases made in stores with a valid ID (applies on regular-priced merchandise only).
