Les Miserables is one of my favourite musicals! I love the characters and how each character has their own melody. My favourite song is One Day More – and you see the compilation of all the main characters, singing their own melodies. Gives me chills everytime!

Eponine has always been my favourite character. Impossible to pick a favourite song – they are all so good! 🙂
On My Own is my fave song. I was in choir has a kid and this was the first song that introduced me to Les Mis. And so the love of Broadway begin at an early age.
We played this musical when I was part of a choral in secondary school, in France. I only know the songs in French and would love to discover the anglophone version ! My favorite character was Gavroche.

I would say my favorite character is Marius Pontmercy. There’s actually a very hilarious passage from the book where, when he found out that Cosette is leaving for England, he just bashes his head on a tree for two hours while Cosette cries beside him. He’s representative of an optimistic future where love thrives, but when he launches into Empty Chairs at Empty Tables? Chills.
