Stephen Fearing, the award winning Canadian folk singer-songwriter, will be performing at the Massey Theatre with Canadian alt-country performer singer Oh Susanna.

Through a life of many relocations and countless months on the road performing, Fearing has become a gifted storyteller and true musical nomad with the ability to enthral audiences displaying his virtuosic guitar artistry.

Fearing is blessed with three distinct personalities as a performer. There’s his solo career, which has earned him five Juno Award nominations and one wins, in addition to his successful career with Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, his Juno Award-winning super group with Colin Linden and Tom Wilson, and Fearing & White, the duo he formed with U.K. singer-songwriter Andy White. Fearing has managed to stay relevant by pursuing song topics at every opportunity.

Over the course of 30 highly creative years, Fearing has released nine albums under his own name, seven with B&RK, and two with F&W. He has been nominated for numerous awards and received two Juno’s, a Canadian Folk Music Award and a West Coast Music Award.

Oh Susanna, the stage name of singer/songwriter Suzie Ungerleider, a Canadian alt-country performer with a taste for stark, haunting balladry joins Fearing and together they create a captivating evening of song you don’t want to miss.
