Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday this year, and while it’s good to make time for romance, sometimes everyday tasks and commitments can get in the way making it an seemingly impossible task. This year, Truffles Fine Foods wants to take the stress out of your date night planning and do the cooking for you!

Share your love over beautifully-crafted plates in the cozy comfort of your own home by ordering Truffles’ Valentine’s Day Dinner-To-Go meal. This year’s menu is thoughtfully designed and will tantalize even the most discerning of palates.

Valentine’s Day Dinner-To-Go

Appetizer
BABY LETTUCE GREEN AND SNOW PEA SALAD
Crisp pancetta and pecorino cheese with essence of mint and a lemon thyme vinaigrette
Entrée
Choose between:
CHATEAUBRIAND
Beef filet grilled to perfection, served with a bouquetière of baby vegetables,
rosemary chèvre bread pudding, and wild mushroom demi-glace
OR
AROMATIC SQUASH RAVIOLI
Served with roasted wild mushrooms, whole pecans, and a sage-pecan truffle emulsion
Dessert
CHOCOLATE GANACHE HEART
Hand-crafted truffles with passion fruit and Grand Marnier purée

The Valentine’s Day Dinner-To-Go is prepared for parties of two and costs $85 (before tax). Orders are currently being accepted (along with deposits) but there is a limited supply so be sure to book early!

Truffles Fine Foods does wedding, event, and film catering out of their 4 kitchens in Vancouver. They are also the official onsite caterer at VanDusen Botanical Garden and the exclusive caterer at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster.

The winner will receive the Valentine’s Dinner-To-Go (as outlined in the menu above), a bottle of wine to compliment the meal, and a fresh flower arrangement from Granville Island Florist.
