Food Truck February at Vancouver Farmers Markets
byAs if our local farmers markets don’t already supply an abundance of deliciousness throughout the year, they just launched the 6th annual Food Truck February!
Food Truck February
Starting Saturday, February 4th at the Nat Bailey market, and Sunday, February 5th at Hastings Park, you’ll find double the number of food trucks on site where you can sample the world of local food and global flavours that Food Truck February has to offer.
Your Golden Ticket
Pick up a Food Truck February Passport at the Info Booth and get it stamped each week when you purchase a food truck meal. Passport holders with a full card at the end of February will be entered to win the Golden Ticket – a food truck lunch every week at the markets for a full year.
Other Food Truck February highlights include a visit from the Chinese Lion Dancers this weekend at Nat Bailey and Hastings Park, in celebration of the Lunar New Year. The lucky dragon will be chowing down on local greens at food trucks and market stalls in exchange for good fortune and prosperity in the year to come.
Market attendees are also encouraged to tag their food truck lunches #foodtruckfeb on Instagram – each post will be entered to win a Vancouver Farmers Markets World Traveller Pack containing a reusable coffee mug, a limited edition canvas tote, and a set of produce bags.
Visit the Nat Bailey Winter Farmers Markets every Saturday this month at 4601 Ontario St, and the Hastings Park Winter Farmers Market every Sunday at Renfrew and Hastings. For more information, and to find out what’s in season, follow Vancouver Farmers Markets on Facebook and Twitter.
