Hats Off Day Photos

Burnaby Heights merchants celebrated their community this past Saturday during Hats Off Day. This free family event spanned Hastings Street, from Boundary to Gamma, with a jungle-themed parade, show & shine, activities, live entertainment, and plenty of street food. I was out of town but I followed the tag #HatsOffDay online and watched it trend in Vancouver, and in Canada. Here are some of the highlights that were shared:

I heard from so many people (on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) about how they had never been to Hats Off Day before and they were so glad they went. From the dog-friendly street to dipped ice cream cones, dancing, yoga, colouring, and so much more free fun.
