We will have the greatest number of participants in our history, which is 45 years long,” says Charlene Krepiakevich, Executive Director of the Vancouver International Marathon Society, organizers of the event held annually on the first weekend of May. “While the Marathon remains our marquee event, demand for the 8KM and Half Marathon has exceeded expectations.”

I don’t understand why you are apparently unable to give specifics on road closures. The map can’t be enlarge to see which streets are closed so citizens of Vancouver can get out of parking garages and carry on with their lives. At least those not consumed with a race.
