byOn September 13th you’re invited to QE Park to celebrate its 75th anniversary with live music and festivities. The Queen Elizabeth Party in the Park will have a free concert with The Zolas and Delhi 2 Dublin, $5 zipline rides, free pitch & putt and more.

Take transit to the park by walking over from the King Edward Canada Line station or taking a 15 Cambie, 33 UBC, or 003 Main Street bus.

Stanley Park Brewing licensed area, $5.00 zipline rides, free pitch & putt, free admission at the Bloedel Conservatory, face painting at the fountain plaza, photo booth at the fountain plaza, pickleball at the tennis courts, free drop-in at the QE lawn bowling club. Named after King George VI’s consort, Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother), the park was dedicated in 1939 when King George VI visited Vancouver when it was decided that it would undergo a transformation, from being a basalt quarry to lush green gardens. Read the full history here.
