Vancouver’s original and Irish pub, The Blarney Stone, is celebrating all things Irish this St Patrick’s Day with five days of events, hosting everything from family-friendly activities to a late night countdown for adults only, culminating with an all-day block party.

Friday, March 13, 2015
blarneystonestpatricksdayKick off the weekend with an Irish Lunch or after work Happy Hour Irish Cocktails (12:00pm to 8:00pm). Starting at 8:00pm DJ S#arpe will spin Celtic, rock, Top 40 and electronic music. Celtic/rock band The Vagabonds take the stage at 9:00pm. $12 Cover charge starts at 8:00pm. Guest list for priority entry good until 10:00pm. Purchase $10 tickets in advance and get on the guest list online.

Saturday, March 14, 2015
Enjoy an Irish Brunch and $4 Irish Caesars with a Happy Hour menu until 6:00pm. There will be live music from Irish Celtic rock band The Unusual Suspects, Sing-A-Long favourites from DJ Steel, along with Irish and Scottish Dancers, pipes and drums. Cover after 6:00pm. $10 Advance tickets are good for entry before 8:00pm. Purchase advance tickets online. There is no regular guest list for this event.

St Patrick’s Day Parade – Family Friendly
All ages event with Irish Dancers and circus performers, face painting and balloon twisting, street performances by Danny Bhoy and the Legendary Pat Chessell Band. Serving up St Patrick’s Day Brunch (from 9:00am) with $4 Irish Caesars and $6 Irish Pints. Take part in St Patrick’s Day celebrations a few days in advance so you won’t have to miss any school or work. Book here in advance for $10 to reserve brunch seating.

St Patrick’s Day Eve – Sponsored by Keith’s Belgian Ale
Be the first to celebrate St Patrick’s Day at The Blarney Stone with a countdown and balloon drop at midnight. Entertainment will include Irish dances, live Celtic, folk, and rock with The Sheets, and the special is $13.50 pitches of Keith’s all night. $10 Cover Charge from 8:00pm. Guest list valid until 10:00pm. $10 advance tickets include a pint of Shocktop Belgian Ale and priority guest list all night.

Tuesday, March 17, 2015
Street Party – Sponsored by Magners Irish Cider, Keith’s IPA, and Guinness
All ages event over the entire block of 200 Carrall Street in Gastown. 9:00am to 12:00pm there will be a brunch buffet, live music all day with street performances by Danny Bhoy and The Sheets and the legendary Killarney, Irish and Scottish dances, pipes and drums, circus performers, free balloons and face painting, and music from DJ Steel.

Daytime Cover from 9:00am to 6:00pm is $10 (kids under 12 are free. Minors under 19 are not permitted to remain after 6:00pm). Night time cover charge (4:00pm to 2:00am) is $20. Day and night pre-paid packages including brunch are available as well for $25.
