Victoria’s Secret Opens in Vancouver

Sexy, sophisticated and glamourous are all synonymous with one of the world’s most iconic brands. Victoria’s Secret has now officially expanded into British Columbia with the August 27th opening of its Canadian flagship store in downtown Vancouver. Lindsay Ellingson, one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels, was in Vancouver for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and to welcome shoppers.

Since Tuesday, women (and some reluctant men) have been flocking to the corner of Robson and Burrard Streets, most seen leaving clutching the brand’s coveted pink-striped shopping bags. At more than 35,000 square feet of vibrant space over two floors, the Vancouver location is the second-largest in the world after the New York City flagship store. Dressed up in dramatic accents with custom chandeliers and larger-than-life imagery, this Victoria’s Secret location lives up to the stunning vision fans of the brand expect.

What makes Victoria’s Secret’s entry into Vancouver so exciting is that there is simply nothing else like it. It’s a brand and lifestyle that’s known to women around the globe, and it dominates in a way that none other has before. When Rebecca and I visited New York City on a girls’ trip several years ago, the Herald Square flagship was one of our first stops. Neither of us left empty-handed.

In addition to lingerie, Victoria’s Secret’s Vancouver flagship also carries the Sport and Swim lines, luxurious body care products and nearly 7,000 square feet dedicated to the collegiate-inspired bras, panties and loungewear that form the PINK collection.

Stop by in Vancouver at 750 Burrard Street (at Robson) daily from 10:00am to 9:00pm or 11:00am to 8:00pm on Sundays.
