Snow Tubing Classic for a Cause
byThere are some very creative ways to support a cause and flying down a snowy slope on a rubber doughnut filled with air sounds pretty fantastic. A Little More Good, a local company that supports and promotes the ‘small’ actions that you can take to make a difference, has dreamed up the Snow Tubing Classic.
Taking place January 26, 2012 at Mount Seymour, the event will support A Little More Good’s “Charity of the Month” which is the Take a Hike Foundation.
The ultimate goal of the Take a Hike alternative education program is that barriers to learning are minimized, personal issues are addressed, and students achieve a greater level of social and academic success. Programs combine the following four aspects: adventure-based learning, therapy, academics, and community involvement.
The Snow Tubing Classic will begin at 7:00pm on January 26th and tickets are $20 in advance or $30 at the hill. The only people on the hill at that time will be event participants and all net proceeds go directly to the Take A Hike Foundation.
