Love Vancouver Love Your Planet
byLove Vancouver, Love Your Planet is a new, free, one-day celebration of green art, music, and lifestyle happening June 5, 2011 at the Olympic Village.
The festival celebrates and encourages Vancouverites to build a more sustainable future for the city, by bringing communities together to share ideas and celebrate innovations.
There will be an eco-fair, food stalls, sustainable art installations, musicians, activities for the family, and many ideas about how to live green in Vancouver. Love Vancouver, Love Your Planet coincides with UN World Environment Day and kicks off Canadian Environment Week.
It’s free to attend and enjoy from 11:00am until 6:00pm this Sunday, June 5. Come by bike, Canada Line (to Olympic Village station), SkyTrain (walk over from Main Street), or False Creek Ferry/Aquabus. Follow the day’s events on Twitter @LoveVancouver, using the tag #LoveVan, or on Facebook.
