byAt last night’s Vancouver Blogger Meetup I was on a panel with Robert Ballantyne who is a resident of Bowen Island. Just 20 minutes away by ferry, this Island community has been a recreation destination for decades making it a perfect feature for this week’s ‘Archives Photo‘ collection.

Those are great! Thanks for posting them… now, we’ll have to see how the Parks Canada evaluation is going, to make Bowen Island an international destination…
Whoah! I have some pictures of Bowen island from the 40s mostly of my grandpa who was a girls camp for some reason!
