Even though the weather isn’t quite cooperating, Vancouver’s social calendar is heating up toward the end of the month. The following community events, presented in Link Fest form, have been either researched or submitted via my contact form.

      The BCKA (BC Kitefliers Association) is having their Annual Pacific Rim Kite Festival on June 12 and June 13th.

      I was wondering if you could please add to your “June 2010 Events in Vancouver” that June is Portuguese Heritage Month and there are a variety of events hosted in Vancouver this month.       Did the First Round Bowen Challenge in a double sea kayak, a long but beautiful 34 km paddle around Bowen Island. Probably couldn’t make it under the time limit cutoff these days, but it’s still a great, if more competitive, event.
      But it’s not as publicized as it should be. Please consider adding it to your June events:
