CES 2009 and The Social Media Jungle

Comments 2 by Rebecca Bollwitt

The CES (Consumer Electronic Show) is the world’s largest consumer technology trade show and it happens every year in Las Vegas. As a part of CES there will be some love for new media during the Social Media Jungle, organized by Jeff Pulver, and I have been invited as a speaker.

The Social Media Jungle at the 2009 International CES brings to light how the advent of social media is changing the way we work and live. Sessions include state-of-the-industry updates and a candid look at how social media disrupts the workplace by empowering companies to lower burn rates. Plus, learn how companies can motivate consumers through social media to drive product sales without increasing costs. [Jeff Pulver]

Breakfast with PulverWe’re really trying to get people registered for the Social Media Jungle by this Friday or this track could be in jeopardy. If you’re attending CES or were on the fence, consider this very special day of information sharing as your deciding factor.

The registration costs for this program are: US$ 295 in advance / $395 on site – head to the official registration page for details on sessions and programs.

There is a Social Media Jungle event on Facebook to build awareness for this part of the conference.

I have some decisions and planning to contemplate as we’re going to be in Iowa from the end of December and into January however (in the mean time) I’m still going to promote this fantastic line up and all of the excellent topics and distinguished speakers. Big thanks and kudos go to Jeff Pulver for putting together the Social Media Jungle @ CES.
