Metro Vancouver Regional Parks has announced that the Grouse Grind is now open, which is months ahead of schedule. Each year, the popular trail closes for the winter season and for the past few years it has reopened mid-April.

Grouse Mountain Reopening: Grouse will be welcoming back Annual Passholders and download-only guests starting Monday, June 22, 2020.

Skyride Closure to Affect Grouse Grind in Early November: The only way back down from the Grouse Grind (November 1-12, 2018) will be the BCMC trail which will add 2 hours of hiking time.
