Vancouver’s 46th annual Chinese New Year Parade is February 10th. Ring in the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Pig at Vancouver’s historic Chinatown Spring Festival Parade on Sunday, February 10, 2019.

The Lunar New Year begins on February 5, 2019, but Lunarfest Vancouver begins during the last week of January with events in Richmond and Vancouver. From mandarin musicals, to lion dances and lantern making workshops, there’s plenty for culture-seekers to experience.

The 45th annual Vancouver Chinese New year Parade, happening February 18, 2018, is a free celebration for all to ring in the Year of the Dog. This signature event features lion dances, cultural dance troupes, marching bands, martial arts performances and much more.
