Queer Arts Festival (QAF) returns for its 17th year with a full month of programming. QAF 2024: The Ties That Bind runs from June 1 to 30, 2024 and will showcase a spectrum of events anchored by QAF’s signature Curated Visual Art Exhibition.
The 2024 Queer Arts Festival theme is The Ties That Bind, examining the bonds and complexities of Family, be it blood or chosen, and how queer communities continue to survive and thrive alongside, within, and occasionally despite, traditional family constructs.
Coastal Jazz had announced programming for the Vancouver International Jazz Festival including 20 free shows across the city, the Club Series, the North Shore Jazz Series and more.

The two-storey cafe will serve a variety of Hello Kitty-themed crafted beverages, from coffee drinks to an array of iced teas and milk teas. A range of sweets will include delicious Hello Kitty cakes and ice cream. Additionally, exclusive merchandise will include specially designed mugs, t-shirts, baseball caps, keychains, and tote bags.

Sunday, September 1, features Sea to Sky locals Little Biggs Band, JennaMae and The Groove Section and Cat Madden followed by headliner Kim Churchill.
