Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert July 6-7, 2022 at 7:30pm
Following a popular engagement in June (some tickets are still available) the VSO has added more dates for the popular Star Wars film July. Experience the spectacular Return of the Jedi on the big screen, with the full John Williams score played live by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
The Princess Bride in Concert July 8-9, 2022 at 7:30pm
Experience one of the most beloved films of all time as never before: with the power of a full symphony orchestra performing the entire musical score live-to-picture. Directed by Rob Reiner, The Princess Bride features an all-star cast including Robin Wright, Cary Elwes, Wallace Shawn, Mandy Patinkin, Chris Sarandon, Billy Crystal, Carol Kane, Christopher Guest, Fred Savage and André the Giant.
Now for the first time, composer Mark Knopfler’s unforgettable score has been specially arranged for symphony orchestra. Missing this cinematic concert experience would be inconceivable!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™— Part 2 in Concert July 13-15, 2022 at 7:30pm
The VSO will perform Alexandre Desplat’s entire Grammy® nominated score live, while the entire film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen. In the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of The Wizarding World escalates into an all-out war.

The world premiere of the larger-than-life space experience, Stargazer – An Immersive Universe, takes place today, April 13th, at Tsawwassen Mills Mall and I’m giving away tickets for a lucky winner to visit the exhibit this season!
Stargazer – An Immersive Universe at Tsawwassen Mills
Space fans of all ages can experience the profound discoveries of the universe through this fully immersive visual and sensory-focused exhibit. Curated in part by the MacMillan Space Center, Stargazer immerses the audience into the infinite wonder of the universe through the use of interactive projections, virtual reality, and historically accurate replicas, including a real-size scale version of the Apollo Lunar Module.
The Stargazer immersive experience is a complete walkthrough of our complex and wondrous universe, featuring a 270-degree immersive room, a detailed timeline of the historic space race, and numerous replicas of famous rockets, space stations, and satellites.
Stargazer will also feature Ingenium’s Space to Spoon exhibit, a hands-on experience with stunning graphics and interactive elements for visitors of all ages. This part of the experience showcases the science, technology, and innovation involved in modern agriculture – demonstrated to encourage informal science learning among school groups as well as general audiences.

Family Services of the North Shore (“FSNS”) is excited to once again host Beer by the Pier, welcoming friends and neighbours to come together to sip, snack, mingle, and most importantly, raise funds to support those in the community that need access to critical services.
Beer by the Pier in North Vancouver

Where: Pipe Shop at the Shipyards (115 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver)
Beer by the Pier is an annual fundraiser with all funds directly supporting Family Services of the North Shore’s Child and Youth Programs.
The lineup of breweries includes: Beere Brewing Company, Black Kettle Brewing Co., Bridge Brewing Co., Deep Cove Brewers & Distillers, House of Funk Brewing Co., La Cerveceria Astilleros, North Point Brewing Co., Strange Fellows Brewing, Wildeye Brewing, Artisan Wine Shop, and more to be confirmed! The evening will include a BBQ dinner as well.
