It’s as good a time as any to show mom that you care and if you’re looking for an event or brunch around town, there are some great resources available to help you plan something special.

The supermoon appeared over Vancouver last night, rising up and glowing brightly as it closely orbited the earth. Photographers who camped out with their tripods captured this effect and have graciously shared the results with the Miss604 Flickr Pool. Enjoy!

The Gazillion Bubble Show Vancouver

Comments 106 by Rebecca Bollwitt

Gazillion Bubble Show VancouverThe Gazillion Bubble Show is making its Canadian premiere and coming to Vancouver this summer. For kids of all ages, this dazzling stage show features “bubble artistry” and goes well beyond your backyard bubbling blowing antics.

Performer Fan Yang has set Guinness World Records for things like the biggest bubble ever blown, largest bubble wall ever created, and has even encapsulated 118 people inside a single soap bubble.

“This is not just any bubble show, it is a highly entertaining spectacle filled with lasers, special effects, millions of bubbles, and much more. Kids really get into it. It makes for a excellent family outing,” says Hoang Truong, Vancouver’s event organizer.

The Gazillion Bubble Show encourages audience participation and it’s most likely like no other show you’ve seen. It will be at The Centre for Performing Arts from August 24th to 26th and tickets are now on sale ranging from $29 to $60 through Ticketmaster.

I have a family park of 4 tickets to give away as well, here’s how you can enter to win:
