This summer I have the enviable task of sharing adventures and writing about some of the Sunshine Coast’s many festivals through a partnership with FestivalSeekers. Once I’ve published my story for them, I’ll be posting an accompanying photo collage on Miss604. Follow all of these stories through my Sunshine Coast tag.

Synchronicity Festival in Gibsons

Where: Shirley Macey Park, Gibsons, BC
When: August 21st to August 23rd, 2015

Since 2010, the audience for the Synchronicity Festival has grown from 350 to 1,500 spectators and more are expected this year. Everyone is invited once again to feast on a remarkable combination of circus, music, interactive installations, local food, and markets.

Read my full article about the Synchronicity Festival in Gibsons over on the FestivalSeekers website and check out Sunshine Coast Tourism to plan your trip to this beautiful coastal region.

The Stanley Park Ecology Society (“SPES”) is piloting Summer Day Camps for 7 to 9 year olds this July and August in Stanley Park.

Stanley Park Summer Day Camps for Kids

spes-nov2The Day Camps will run Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, rain or shine, and will also offer Camp Care from 4:30pm to 6:00pm to allow parents flexibility in their busy schedules.

Children have the opportunity to visit the Stanley Park Nature House on Lost Lagoon, the many beaches of the Park, Beaver Lake and various other park sites as they build relationships with nature.

Sign up for “Water Worlds of Stanley Park”, “Secret Life of Plants”, “Stanley Park Survivor”, and other themed weeks throughout July and August. Registration is now open online.
