November 29, 2018 to January 5, 2019: Bright Nights in Stanley Park Christmas Train is a highlight of the holiday season in Vancouver. Not only does everyone get to share in the the magic of Stanley Park, but under millions of sparkling lights, this event also raises funds for two local causes.
On October 29, 2018 the Stanley Park Ecology Society (SPES) will host a special presentation at its AGM: “Stanley Park 2100: Adapting to Climate Change” with guest speakers Angela Danyluk and Bill Stephen.
Unveiled in 2015, Shore to Shore, by Coast Salish master carver Ts’uts’umutl Luke Marston, depicts Portuguese Joe Silvey, along with his first and second Coast Salish wives, Khaltinaht and Kwatleemaat.
