Built in 1893, Roedde House Museum is located at 1415 Barclay Street, Vancouver at Barclay Square.

The Legends of Vancouver tour is based on sites mentioned in E. Pauline Johnson (Takehionwake)’s book Legends of Vancouver. The tour visits some of the sites of those legends, and examines places of sacred meaning to local First Nations.

Vancouver Heritage Week: The Vancouver Heritage Foundation is taking part in Heritage Week in BC and across Canada February 19-25th. With the theme of “heritage stands the test of time”, Vancouver Heritage Week will be comprised of three free or low-cost events.

Looking ahead to 2018, I thought it would be fun to look back 100 years to catch a glimpse of Vancouver in 1918, thanks to the City of Vancouver Archives.
