Provence’s Valentine’s Menu Speaks the Language of Love

  • Where: 1177 Marinaside Crescent, Vancouver
  • When: February 14, 2026, reservations available
  • Details: On February 14th join Chef Jean-Francis and his team for a Valentine’s Day Dinner that is sure to delight everyone with an elegant menu celebrating romance, terroir, and craft. Priced at $145 per person for seven courses, guests are invited to immerse themselves in an evening of l’amour where refined French cuisine meets thoughtfully curated wines—each pairing designed to elevate the moment. Wine pairings are $105 per person.

Loam Bistro

  • Details: This Valentine’s Day, Loam is offering a romantic two-course set menu for $55 per person, featuring two risottos and a decadent dessert. Guests can enjoy the Beetroot & Burrata Risotto, made with roasted beetroot purée, sage butter, parmesan, burrata, and fresh dill, followed by Strawberry Tiramisu, with layers of strawberry mascarpone, fresh strawberries, and strawberry compote. To complement the menu, Loam’s February featured drink, a luscious Strawberry Hot Chocolate.

Alouette Bistro

  • Details: This Valentine’s weekend, Alouette Bistro invites couples to enjoy a special Surf and Turf Cheese Fondue. Featuring raclette cheese fondue with filet mignon, prosciutto, prawns, scallops, pickled and fresh vegetables, Creamer potatoes, and sourdough, the dish is $190 for two guests. The feature will be available throughout the Valentine’s weekend, alongside a variety of beverage specials, offering a cozy experience perfect for celebrating love.

St. Lawrence – French & Québécois Cuisine

  • Details: Looking for something a little different this Valentine’s Day weekend? Step into a cozy, romantic celebration of Québec tradition at St. Lawrence, where Cabane à Sucre returns—reimagined as a refined seasonal dining experience available now through March. Inspired by the beloved sugar shack gatherings that mark the arrival of spring in Québec, this limited-time menu captures the warmth, nostalgia, and indulgence of la belle province, translated into an elevated dining experience perfect for sharing. Expect maple-forward flavours, comforting dishes with a refined touch, and a sense of story.
    • Menu highlights may include: maple-smoked and cured steelhead trout with dill cream, duck confit ravioli with maple duck jus, herb crêpes with mushroom ragout and Miranda cheese, maple-marinated sablefish with smoked butter, grilled venison loin with tourtière, and maple-forward desserts like maple tart with Chantilly and spruce or a maple profiterole with pecans, apples, and Labrador tea.

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse

  • When: February 13-15, 2026, reservations available
  • Details: Kobe Japanese Steakhouse is making Valentine’s weekend extra special with His & Hers cocktails for couples—His: Suntory Toki Japanese Whisky, plum wine, bitters, and simple syrup; Hers: vodka, muddled strawberries, yuzu liqueur, soda, and simple syrup, each $16. For Galentine’s Day, guests can sip on Rose Sangria ($15) or enjoy half-price Sandhill Sauvignon Blanc bottles ($36). Add some fun to your evening with a hibachi experience, where the chefs create their dishes with fire and high-quality food (pictured above) – perfect for a playful and memorable date.

The Sandbar

  • When: February 14, 2026, reservations available
  • Details: The Sandbar is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a selection of special features alongside its regular menu, giving guests flexibility with dining choices. Valentine’s features begin with indulgent appetizers; such as, Lobster Bisque with crème fraîche, Burrata Salad with gem tomatoes and pistachio praline, and Hoshi’s Special, featuring a dynamite roll with tempura prawn, plus salmon and tuna nigiri. For mains, guests can choose from entrées like the classic Bouillabaisse with lingcod, mussels, clams, prawns, and rock crab, the indulgent Surf & Turf with grilled tenderloin and roasted lobster tail, or Wild Mushroom Ravioli with garlic cream sauce and truffle oil. The evening finishes on a sweet note with a Chocolate Lava Cake served with vanilla gelato and raspberry coulis.

Lavantine

  • Where: 833 W Pender Street, Vancouver
  • When: February 14, 2026, reservations available
  • Details: Lavantine is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a three-course prix-fixe menu priced at $165 per person, showcasing the restaurant’s signature Middle Eastern–inspired flavours and refined techniques. Guests begin with a choice of first courses such as Cauliflower Panna Cotta with Osetra Caviar, Creamy Lobster Broth, or Spiced Lamb Hummus. The second course offers a selection of beautifully prepared mains, including Roasted Chicken with Moghrabieh, Roasted King Salmon with Tahina Remoulade, Lamb Manti, or Roasted Cauliflower with warming spices. The evening concludes with a decadent dessert choice, including Chocolate Biscuit Cake, Palace Bread Pudding with rose and cherry, or Chocolate Baklava served with vanilla gelato.

  • Details: Fable Diner has a three-course dinner available for Valentine’s Day. Starters include options such as Bacon-Wrapped Scallops with Cajun cream and basil oil or a Peach & Beet Salad with goat cheese, maple balsamic dressing, and sunflower seeds. For the main course, choose from NY Striploin with roasted herb and garlic potatoes, Roast Duck Risotto with creamy mushrooms and rosemary, or Chicken Parmesan Pasta with vodka sauce and rigatoni. Dessert options include a nostalgic Chocolate Strawberry Milkshake, Chocolate-Covered Strawberries, or a light Pavlova with fresh berries, cream, and mint. $65 per couple, additional $25 to add a bottle of red or white wine.

  • Details: D/6 Bar & Lounge is celebrating Valentine’s weekend with feature cocktails available from February 13–15, along with two special events

Casa Amor is a full venue takeover bringing together the city’s finest for a Valentine’s night curated for connection.   • Details: This Valentine’s, indulge in sharable favourites at ATLAS steak + fish. For the seafood lovers, a Chef’s Seafood Grill spotlights a collection of expertly prepared seafood including lobster, scallops, mussels and more – all prepared with international influences. The Chef’s Seafood Grill is made for two, and available for $98.00, with the option to enhance with King Crab Legs. Other dishes include tableside Caesar salad and large format steaks.

  • Details: Mon Paris Patisserie has their much-anticipated Valentine’s sweet treats. Highlights include the Love Letter Cake, a sweet little love note in dessert form. For $39, their 4″ x 4″ Love Letter Cake features brownie biscuit, strawberry confit, and strawberry mousse. Available for $35 pre-order only for pickup on February 14. Or the Chocolate Diorama – Key to My Heart Box filled with 6 assorted truffles, perfect for sharing. Available in store starting February 1st.

Tayybeh Opens New Mount Pleasant Location

  • Where: 151 W Broadway, Vancouver
  • When: Grand opening on February 1st
  • Details: The opening of the new Mount Pleasant restaurant is currently operating as a soft opening, featuring a menu of Syrian foods prepared by Tayybeh’s team of newcomer women chefs. A full grand opening is planned for February 1st. In addition to dine-in service, the new location allows Tayybeh to expand private event space rental bookings in Vancouver, supporting birthdays, corporate gatherings, and community celebrations. As a recognized Middle Eastern restaurant in Vancouver, Tayybeh’s move to West Broadway reflects continued investment in community connection, cultural hospitality, and accessible dining experiences.

Vancouver Welcomes UCHU: A Seafood-Forward Restaurant with Peruvian Soul

The acclaimed team behind Mount Pleasant’s Michelin-recommended SUYO Modern Peruvian will debut UCHU Cevicheria & Raw Bar in February Led by Chef/Owner Ricardo Valverde. The restaurant showcases modern seafood dishes and an expressive cocktail program inspired by Mediterranean, Italian, French, Chinese, and Japanese culinary traditions, resulting in a dynamic, first-of-its-kind concept in Canada.
    • Standout dishes include the Bluefin Tuna & Crab Causa and the warm Scallop Batayaki, a dish inspired by the classic Conchitas a la Parmesana, but leaning Japanese-Italian with its blend of sushi rice, garlic, parmesan, aji amarillo aioli, and bright notes of yuzu. Make a reservation here.

Botanist Bar Welcomes New York’s Famed Employees Only

  • Where: Fairmont Pacific Rim, 1038 Canada Place, Vancouver

  • Details: The team at Botanist Bar in the Forbes Five-Star Fairmont Pacific Rim will welcome New York City’s iconic Art Deco cocktail bar, Employees Only (EO), for a one-night-only cocktail collaboration. Guests are invited to experience a special menu featuring eight original cocktails, with four creations from each bar team. Representing Botanist Bar are Grant Sceney, Fairmont Pacific Rim’s creative beverage director, and his team, while Employees Only will be represented by Matt Maretz, bar manager and principal bartender, alongside fellow principal bartender Frances Elizabeth Fago. Valentine’s Chocolate Making Workshop at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts

  • Where: 1505 West 2nd Ave #101, Vancouver
  • When: February 7, 2026 from 10:00am – 2:00pm
  • Details: During this special class as master chocolatier, Chef Patrice leads participants in a hands-on session that details how to create a heart-shaped box filled with chocolate truffle bonbons. You will also learn how to make chocolate paste roses as well as techniques to temper, mould and decorate chocolate. A limited number of tickets to the class are available for $159 plus tax here.

Get Lucky Valentine’s Dumpling Class at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts

  • Details: Celebrate Lunar New Year with a hands-on culinary experience at the Lucky Dumpling Workshop. Designed for cooks of all levels, this class invites guests to honour the Year of the Horse while learning traditional dumpling-making techniques rooted in symbolism of prosperity, longevity, and good fortune. Led by a professional chef-instructor in an intimate, small-group setting, participants will work in pairs to craft Golden Pork & Garlic Chive Dumplings, Lucky Vegetable Dumplings, and Chili Wontons — mastering folding techniques, flavour balance, and presentation along the way. Exploration of Filled Pasta Class at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts

  • Where: 1505 West 2nd Ave #101, Vancouver
  • When: February 12, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm
  • Details: In this class, Chef Shane will lead participants on a journey to create fresh, hand-made filled pasta as they master the delicate artistry that transforms humble ingredients into culinary magic and prepare Ravioli with lemon, ricotta and spinach bathed in brown butter and sage and Tortelloni filled with wild mushrooms and mascarpone in a porcini cream sauce. The quintessential Italian Aperol Spritz aperitivo will also be available. A limited number of tickets to the class, which includes a PICA chef branded apron – are available for $139 plus tax.
