The Fort Langley Cranberry Festival is a celebration of community and harvest, and one humble berry that brings it all together. Over 35,000 festival goers enjoy this event each year, which spans the Fort Langley Village and National Historic Site throughout one autumn day in the valley.

Fort Langley National Historic Site
The Fort Langley National Historic Site will have festivities from 10:00am to 4:30pm. General admission fees apply, with free admission for youth 17 and under.
Discover the role this small but mighty berry played in the trade and daily life in the 19th century. Through engaging talks, demonstrations, and lively storytelling with interpreters, visitors can learn, explore, and have fun while connecting with the heritage of this iconic berry. The day also marks the launch of the Fort’s Scarecrow Showcase. Join the scavenger hunt, discover creative scarecrows across the site, and cast your vote for a favourite.
Cranberry Bog Tours
The Bog at Riverside Cranberry Farm is open for tours and the plunge until October 11, 2025. Book your experience online in advance. Pop on a pair of farm waders and step into a circle of floating fresh cranberries for a quintessential autumn photo opportunity, which is only available for a very short time. Open for individuals or small groups (up to 10 people) of adults and children above the age of 5 years old.

Fort Langley Cranberry Festival 2025
- When: Saturday, October 11, 2025 10:00am to 4:00pm
- The Fort Langley Lions Club Pancake Breakfast starts 8:00am to 11:00am at the greenspace on the corner of Glover and Mary. $10 includes 2 pancakes, 3 sausages, 1 cranberry bratwurst and coffee or tea.

In previous years, there have been hundreds of vendors, a kids area, crafts, live entertainment, and more for an ultimate fall market and celebration. Other than the Pancake Breakfast, details of the 2025 event in the village have yet to be confirmed but will be posted once made public. The usual organizer’s website and Facebook has no information as of October 1st.
The grassroots event began in 1995 and has been supported by the local community, growing to become a much loved annual event, celebrating and recognizing the cranberry’s role in local history going back thousands of years.
