Grey Cup Festival Vancouver Drone Show, Zipline
byThe Grey Cup Festival in Vancouver is just over a week away and organizers have announced that a drone show will be added to the festivities which already include parties, concerts, ziplines, and more.
Grey Cup Festival Vancouver Drone Show
The 1,000 unit drone show will fly over Coal Harbour between the festival site at the Vancouver Convention Centre West, and the Westin Bayshore, on Wednesday, November 13th at 8:30pm.
In the event that the show is unable to move forward on Wednesday, it will be rescheduled for Friday November 15th.

Free Experiences from Canada Place to BC Place
The drone show follows the Grey Cup Festival Kickoff Party presented by PCI Developments which will take place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm that day as well on Canada Place Way between Thurlow and Burrard with headliner Felix Cartal.
This area will be home to the Save-On-Foods Street Festival from Wednesday to Saturday, which is the the main free public activation during the Grey Cup Festival. The Vancouver Convention Centre East building will offer a variety of free activities from November 13th to 16th, including five major zones aimed at fostering an immersive and enjoyable atmosphere for fans of all ages: TELUS Family Zone, WestJet Ultimate CFL Experience, TGS Esports Experience, Indigenous Marketplace presented by Destination Indigenous, and the World Vision Global Pavilion.
On Sunday, November 17th at 1:30pm join the march to BC Place lead by CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie and the official Grey Cup handler. Wind through the core of downtown Vancouver, delivering the iconic Grey Cup trophy from the Vancouver Convention Centre to BC Place Stadium for the 111th Grey Cup. Starting at the Vancouver Convention Centre East building, the fan march will walk southbound along Howe St, eastbound on Robson St, concluding at BC Place Stadium in time for fans to enjoy pregame festivities at the Lordco Auto Parts Block Party (ticketed) or PlayNow Sports Backyard Street Party (free).
Ziplines
There will be two ziplines running around this festival site: the Harbour Zipline, over the water between Canada Place and the Convention Centre; and the Street Zipline. This experience is free for fans, registration is first come first served, and there are weight restrictions. Registration queuing will begin near the base of the zipline launch tower next to the Vancouver Convention Centre East building.
Zipline hours are November 13th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and November 14th from 11:00am to 9:00pm.
