Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade 2026
The Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade, organized annually by the Khalsa Diwan Society at the Ross Street Temple in South Vancouver, is coming up on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The celebration has grown into one of Vancouver’s largest single-day festivals, attracting up to 250,000 attendees each year.

The parade begins at the Khalsa Diwan Society on Ross Street and features vibrant floats, music, and community performances. Attendees of all races and cultures are welcome at this celebratory and rich cultural event. Vancouver’s Vaisakhi Parade also features a unique element which pays tribute to the harvest celebration roots of the parade: attendees are given free food and drink from hundreds of local residents and businesses.
Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade Route
In order to help manage rising operational costs while ensuring the continued success of the celebration, organizers have modified the 2026 parade route to avoid the most costly security segment along Marine Drive, instead proceeding north along Ross Street and west along 57th Avenue toward Main Street, heading east on 49th to Fraser, back to 57th and Ross.
