Our April edition of Vancouver Eats for 2026 is serving up delicious Easter and Cherry Blossom themed menus, new openings for spring, and activities to be found around the region. Easter Brunch at Westin Bayshore
- Where: 1601 Bayshore Drive, Vancouver
- When: Sunday, April 5th with seatings starting at 11:30 am
- Details: This festive brunch includes vibrant starters such as Heirloom Tomato Salad with bocconcini and basil, Mediterranean orzo salad, shrimp ceviche and a classic smoked salmon platter. Guests can also explore an abundant artisan cheese and charcuterie display. Brunch favourites include French toast with maple brown sugar walnuts, creamy scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms, huevos rancheros, maple smoked bacon and more. Chef-manned stations feature honey glazed Easter ham, salmon Wellington and made-to-order omelets. $99 per adult; $45 for children ages 6 to 11. Book now.
Lavantine Brunch
- Where: 833 W Pender Street, Vancouver
- When: Sunday, April 5th from 10:00am to 3:00pm
- Details: Celebrate Easter with a curated three-course menu priced at $65 per person, or $85 with a Veuve Clicquot Champagne Mimosa, blending elevated brunch classics with vibrant Middle Eastern flavours. The menu features shareable starters like babaganoush with house-baked pita, beet salad, and fried halloumi, followed by mains such as lamb benedict, avocado toast, smoked salmon on a Turkish simit bagel and spinach and mushroom eggs benedict all served with herb salad and batata harra potatoes. For a more indulgent experience, guests can add on mezze platters, including a generous selection of house-made dips or a seafood mezze with prawns, tuna and oysters.
Glowbal Restaurant Brunch
- Where: 590 W Georgia Street, Vancouver
- When: Sunday, April 5th from 10:00am to 2:00pm
- Details: Celebrate Easter at GLOWBAL with their signature Easter Brunch Buffet priced at $85 per adult and $35 for children 12 and under, the buffet features a lavish spread, including a chilled seafood bar, live omelet and carving stations, eggs Benedict, decadent desserts and more. Available exclusively for the holiday, it’s the perfect festive gathering for family and friends to celebrate together. Reservations are required.
Honey Salt Easter
- Where: Parq Casino Level One, 39 Smithe Street, Vancouver
- When: Egg Painting Party or Brunch both April 4th and 5th from 10:30am to 3:00pm
- Details: Honey Salt is hosting both a Easter Brunch and Egg Painting Party (with the Easter bunny!) this weekend. Guests can pre-order as many egg painting kits as they like when they make their reservation – kits include eggs to paint, markers, stickers, trinkets and extra treats ($28 each). For brunch, enjoy Caramel Honey Bunny Buns for the table and choose from a selection of brunch favourites in a warm, family-friendly setting. A Tavola Easter Dinner Option at Honey Salt
- When: Sunday to Thursdays 5:00pm to close
- Details: Enjoy a taste of Italy with To The Table’s $48 Pasta Feature Menu. Savour favourites like calamari, chicken parm, tiramisu and more. Each main dish is served alongside Uncle Tony’s cheesy focaccia topped with fior di latte, Parmigiano Reggiano and garlic herb butter. Bring la famiglia to the table and elevate the meal with select bottles of wine at 25% off for a true Italian dining experience.
New Menus

A Taste of Abruzzo: Honouring Chef Claudio Ranallo at La Piazza Dario Ristorante
- Where: 3075 Slocan Street, Vancouver
- When: Now until May 10, 2026
- Details: East Vancouver’s longtime Italian restaurant, La Piazza Dario Ristorante (Dario), is honouring the life and legacy of its beloved chef and owner, Claudio Ranallo, with a special tribute menu – A Taste of Abruzzo. For more than four decades, Ranallo devoted his life to sharing the food and culture of Italy with every guest who walked through the doors of his beloved restaurant. Highlights from the A Taste of Abruzzo menu include: Maccheroni alla Chitarra al Ragù di Cinghiale, a traditional guitar-string-cut pasta served with slow-braised wild boar ragù; Sagne con Zucchine e Zafferano, hand-cut pasta with zucchini and saffron crema; and Pallotte Cacio e Ova, a rustic Abruzzese specialty of fried cheese, egg and bread dumplings served in tomato sauce. Reservations recommended.

Sakura Season at Miku and Minami
- Where: Miku (200 Granville Street #70, Vancouver) and Minami (1118 Mainland Street, Vancouver)
- When: Available until April 12, 2026
- Details: Coal Harbour’s Miku and Yaletown’s Minami welcome spring with sakura-inspired features and picnic-ready offerings for the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival. Inspired by the beauty of cherry blossoms, the seasonal creations highlight fresh and delicate flavours, while remaining true to the restaurants’ signature Aburi-style Japanese cuisine.
- At Miku guests are invited to try their annual Sakura Kaiseki ($180++ per person), Hokkaido Scallop with apple & shiso purée, King Salmon with pea shoot pesto or the Strawberry Semifreddo by pastry chef Isabelle Valencia. Sake pairings are also available for purchase.
- Minami is excited to offer their Sakura Berry Mochi with tsubuan cream, matcha sponge, strawberry milk gelée, salted sakura crumble and sakura berry sorbet or their Okinawa Bloom cocktail with specialty Kimoto Sake. Minami also offers a Sakura Bento for Two for takeout.

Pax Ramona Springs New Menu
- Where: 1670 Commercial Drive, Vancouver
- When: Now Available, Thursday and Sunday 5:00pm to midnight, Friday and Saturday 5:00pm to 1:00am
- Details: Beloved tapas bar Pax Romana is debuting a fresh new menu of Mediterranean-inspired small bites, share plates & hand-crafted cocktails available now at the East Vancouver hotspot. Menu highlights include:
- Charcuterie Boards that feature a choice selection of meats (mortadella and bresaola from Italy, saucisson from France, Iberico chorizo and jamon from Spain and locally made chicken liver parfait) and cheeses (Italian Ubriaco or baked Fontina, French Mimolette or Etorki, English Shropshire blue, Swiss Tête de Moines, Spanish sherry cask Manchego and BC farmhouse goat), served with house-made jams and pickled vegetables. Beaucoup Bakery Seasonal Cakes and Cherry Blossom Specials
- Where: 2150 Fir Street, Vancouver or St. Regis Hotel, 602 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver
- When: Now available until May 3, 2026
- Details: Beaucoup Bakery welcomes the arrival of spring with a new seasonal menu featuring new cakes alongside a limited-time collection created in celebration of Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival. Available now, the line-up highlights bright fruit flavours, creamy textures and a variety of sweet and savoury pastries. The Sakura Matcha (matcha cake, almond crunch, cherry compote and sakura mousse), the Creamy Scallop Croquette Pop Tart (scallop and corn béchamel wrapped in butter croissant pastry and coated with panko), the Truffle Cream Shio Pan (a soft milk bun with a buttery base filled with truffle cream) and the Unagi Croissant Quiche (croissant pastry, creamy custard and topped with torched roasted eel) are just a few highlights.

Selene Aegean Bistro Spring Menu
- Where: 360 Penticton Street, Vancouver
- When: Now available seven days a week, 5:00pm to late. Brunch available on Saturday and Sundays from 10:00am to 2:00pm
- Details: Hastings-Sunrise restaurant Selene Aegean Bistro is celebrating the arrival of spring with a new moon and a new menu to capture the coastal culinary philosophy of the Aegean. Created by co-head chefs Adrian Nate and Arish Dastoor, guests can expect dishes that are light, bright and complemented by fresh herbs. New additions to the spring menu include:
- Carrot Hummus with black garlic mushroom XO and toasted pumpkin seeds and Lakerda with kelp-cured amberjack with strawberry ouzo broth. For larger plates to share, highlights include the Octopus Manestra with spring pea orzo and myzithra, Prawn Hilopites with preserved lemon and pepper butter and the Arctic Char with spinach and avgolemono. New Openings

Van Urban Hospitality’s New European Bistro, Violeté
- Where: 1380 Commercial Drive, Vancouver
- When: Early April
- Details: Opening early April, Violeté is the latest venture from Vancouver restaurateur Reuben Major’s Van Urban Hospitality group. The goal is for Violeté to feel personal, reflective and a deliberate space for community in the neighbourhood. While cozy but not too cramped, the 2,700-square-foot restaurant seats 78 indoors and 16 on the patio. Designed by Lemon Lane Interiors, the space is a blend of rounded archways, luscious greenery, Tuscan-style tiles and Roman clay finishes. The tone is upscale/casual, mainly focusing on Spanish and Italian dishes, but the menu will not feel limited. Follow along here.
BAM BAM Arrives in Downtown Vancouver
- Where: 160 West Georgia Street, Vancouver
- When: Open April 1, 2026 – soft opening hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm seven days a week.
- Details: BAM BAM, by the team behind award-winning Nemesis, is introducing a new all-day concept shaped by design, food and the cultural moments that define North American nostalgia. The menu at BAM BAM is built around the classics we all know and love – fried chicken, donuts, rolls, sandwiches, coffee and cocktails. Sandwiches featured include the Classic Rosemary and Hot Sweet, alongside Popcorn Chicken served with house sauces like Smoked Gherkins and Cucumber Dill Ranch. For sweet treats, house made donuts rotate daily, while house-baked pastry rolls include the OG, Honey Sea Salt, Garlic Knot and Meyer Lemon.

Philly Cheesesteak Restaurant Celebrates Opening on National Cheesesteak Day
- Where: 500 Robson Street, Vancouver
- When: Now Open
- Details: Founded by Anoop and Mona Singh, Crave Cheesesteaks fills a gap in the Vancouver food scene by introducing a gourmet, fast-casual concept, that delivers bold flavour, authenticity and fresh ingredients. The new flagship location blends old-school Philly cheesesteaks with a contemporary, customizable experience, made fresh to order every day. Every cheesesteak is crafted with top-tier meats, high-quality cheeses, crisp produce and served on a fresh toasted roll.
