Vancouver Cherry Blossom Food Festival

  • Where: Various locations across the city
  • When: From March 20 to May 3, 2026
  • Details: From March 20 to May 3, 2026 you can enjoy over 60 limited edition blossom-themed treats across the city. This year’s self-guided citywide food festival will feature 27 cafes, and bakeries across Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond including 7 brand-new vendors joining for the first time. Vendors will off items inspired by spring flavours and the beauty of cherry blossom season. Some vendors from the lineup:

Honey Salt Welcomes BC Artist Lana Schuster for Art-Dinner Series on March 6

  • Where: 39 Smithe Street, Vancouver
  • When: March 6th, 2026 at 6:00pm
  • Details: Honey Salt Executive Chef Johann Caner will welcome acclaimed BC artist Lana Schuster for the restaurant’s ongoing Art-Dinner Series on Friday, March 6th at Honey Salt in Parq Casino. The event begins at 6:00pm with a four-course dinner inspired by the landscapes with each course highlighting native ingredients drawn from the coast, forest, and seasons that define British Columbia. The evening will also feature a live painting by guest artist Lana Schuster, known for her intuitive landscapes, with proceeds donated to the non-profit North Shore Women’s Centre.

Lineage of Fire: Sumibiyaki Arashi Welcomes Japan’s Master Chefs

  • Where: 363 E Broadway, Vancouver
  • When: March 26 – 28, 2026
  • Details: This “six hands, one fire” event features award-winning Torishiki and Tokyo cult favourite Sumibi Yakiniku Nakahara as they join Chef Pete Ho to celebrate Sumibiyaki Arashi’s first anniversary. The multi-course experience features a menu meant to engage all five senses with the three chefs showcasing the artistry of charcoal grilling. The menu is anchored in yakitori but moves beyond it, weaving in seasonal fish and vegetable-forward dishes with unexpected textures and flavours.

Italian Kitchen Pasta Making Experiences

  • When: March 7, March 14, March 21 or March 28 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm
  • Details: Glowbal Restaurant Group’s Italian Kitchen invites guests to celebrate the joy of handmade pasta with an immersive, hands-on experience at their downtown Vancouver location. On Saturdays throughout March, participants will learn the art of authentic Italian pasta in the restaurant’s elegant La Serra Room before enjoying a private dining experience. Designed for groups of six, the experiences are offered in two formats, the Basic Experience ($165 per person) and the Corporate Experience ($199 per person) each including a glass of Mionetto Prosecco or a non-alcoholic cocktail, a choice of red or white wine with dinner, an Italian Kitchen–branded apron, and a pasta cutter wheel to take home.

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse Anniversary Prix-Fixe Menu

  • When: Starting Monday, March 9th (Monday – Thursdays from 5:00pm – 11:00pm)
  • Details: Kobe Japanese Steakhouse will celebrate their 58th anniversary as a downtown dining staple by featuring a limited-time-only prix-fixe Anniversary Menu. The menu showcases the dishes that have made it a favourite of locals and visitors alike since it opened its doors in 1968 and includes features such as Shabu Shabu Soup, Fresh Seasonal Vegetables and Teppan Shrimp all served with steamed rice, flame-kissed Tiger Prawns, Sirloin Steak and Teriyaki Chicken and a choice of Mario’s Gelati for dessert for $60 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Executive Chef Bal Ajagaonkar’s New Menu at Desi Indian Lounge

  • Details: Executive Chef Bal Ajagaonkar has unveiled a refined new menu at Desi Indian Lounge that explores the depth and diversity of India’s regional cuisines through a contemporary lens. Rooted in tradition and guided by precision, the updated offering highlights West Coast ingredients interpreted with classical technique. Available for daily lunch and dinner service, Desi’s new menu refresh features appetizers such as Tandoori Pear Salad, Mango Burrata, Gunpowder Cassava Kebab and Bombay Pomfret Fry, vegetarian and non-vegetarian curry entrées like Anjeer and Akhrot Kofta, Paneer Pasanda, Chennai Jackfruit, Cardoz Chicken and Kerala Coho Salmon and dessert specialties like Malai Ghewar, Moti Chur Cheesecake and Foxtail Millet Pudding.

Botanist Bar launches Experiential Cocktail Series – Third Edition

  • Details: Botanist Bar at Fairmont Pacific Rim has announced the third edition of its popular Botanist Experiential Cocktail Series. Named ‘Exploration of Microclimates’, the new collection is the latest evolution of the immersive Cocktail Lab program, where science, nature and art converge to create a multi-sensory drinking experience. Crafted by the Botanist Bar team, led by creative beverage director Grant Sceney and lead bartender Justin Powell, ‘Exploration of Microclimates’ invites guests on a journey through the Pacific Northwest’s diverse landscapes.
    • Highlights include: Under the Sea with local dry gin, local akvavit, dill, cucumber, fennell, alkaline minerals and sea shell or the Forbidden Fruit with Pisco, Poire William, apple peel oleo, hibiscus, clarified apple, grape soda, ginger and Benedictine. Cocktails start at $22.

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Spring Sakura Afternoon Tea

  • Details: This spring, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver welcomes the return of cherry blossom season with its limited-time Sakura Afternoon Tea – an elegant celebration of renewal, beauty and refined indulgence. Inspired by the soft hues and delicate flavours of sakura, this seasonal experience blends classic afternoon tea tradition with subtle Japanese influences. Highlights include: Cherry Panna Cotta Tart layered with morello jelly and amarena cherry; Pistachio Raspberry Delice with delicate sponge and mousse; Strawberry Verrine with Chantilly and vanilla genoise; Castella Cake filled with bright yuzu cream; and a Lavender Shortbread Cookie finished with a pink lemonade glaze. $75 per adult, $40 per child.

Il Corvo Launches Weekend Italian Brunch in Deep Cove

  • Details: Expanding beyond its popular dinner service, the new casual Italian restaurant, II Corvo, has officially launched brunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, inviting the community to try a menu that features classic brunch favourites, pizzas, Italian street-style sandwiches and more. Created by head chef Tyler Thompson, the brunch menu blends classic brunch staples with distinctly Italian ingredients, including a full Uova Benedict section, featuring four bennies, such as Mortadella (cornetto, scamorza, mortadella, poached egg, and hollandaise) and Braddato al Borolo (cornetto, braised beef, poached egg, hollandaise, and chive). Loam Bistro Extended Hours on Happy Hour Menu

  • Details: This March, guests can enjoy Loam Bistro’s morning Happier Hour menu, available for dine-in. The feature menu includes Loam favourites like: Guacamole & Egg Sandwich or Poached Egg, Mushroom & Arugula on Sourdough — $8, Two-Way Eggs on Brioche or Ricotta, Hot Honey & Prosciutto on Sourdough — $9, Sausage & Fried Egg over Herbed Yogurt & Arugula — $11. Lavantine Restaurant & Skybar

  • Details: Lavantine is bringing back guest favourite dishes as part of a new three-course Spring Feature Menu, at the rooftop oasis atop the AZUR Legacy Hotel. Created by Executive Chef Daniel Kenney, the $65 prix-fixe menu offers a choice of starter, main and dessert — from appetizers like Truffle Hummus and Burrata to entrées such as the Salmon Skewer and Lamb Shank Tagine, finishing with sweets like Tahina Crème Brûlée and Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake.
