Winterlust Returns to H Tasting Lounge at The Westin Bayshore
- Where: H Tasting Lounge, 1601 Bayshore Drive, Vancouver
- When: Now – March 15, 2026
- Details: A much anticipated seasonal favourite is back for the winter, the Winterlust domes with a new seasonal menu at H Tasting Lounge. The six-person domes offer breathtaking views of the North Shore mountains and are equipped with heaters and fresh-air circulation, as well as independent sound systems to create a cozy and personalized dining experience. Led by Chef Olshevskyi, new menu options include four premium caviar services, each complete with sour cream, blinis and, crème fraîche or seafood platters (for two or four), served either chilled or hot. They include crab, prawns, mussels, scallops, clams, and all the accoutrements.
- Minimum spends apply: $150 for weekday lunch and $200 for weekend lunch; $200 for Sunday – Thursday dinner and $250 for dinner Friday – Saturday.

Lunar New Year Afternoon Tea at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

- When: January 9 to February 22, 2026 – reservations recommended.
- Details: Fairmont Hotel Vancouver welcomes the Lunar New Year with a limited-time Lunar New Year Afternoon Tea, thoughtfully curated to celebrate the Year of the Horse. Available throughout the Lunar New Year season, the experience blends traditional afternoon tea with vibrant flavours inspired by festive Lunar New Year customs.
- Highlights include fragrant Jasmine Earl Grey scones, alongside savoury offerings; such as, Szechuan-glazed prawn toast and char siu-inspired salmon mi-cuit with bright yuzu accents. The sweet course features a sesame miso biscuit, mandarin sago pudding, and elegant pastries finished with gold accents to symbolize good fortune. Starting at $75.00 per person.
Gung Haggis Fat Choy
- Where: Pink Pearl Chinese Seafood Restaurant, 1132 East Hastings Street, Vancouver
- When: February 1, 2026, doors open at 5:30pm
- Details: Robbie Burns Gung Haggis Fat Choy Celebration is back for 2026 — Vancouver’s quirkiest, musical cultural mashup. Founded by local legend Todd Wong (aka Toddish McWong), the celebration has been defying cultural boundaries since 1998. This year, they’re adding an extra spark with the Year of the Fire Horse — a zodiac sign famous for boldness, creativity, and a little bit of mischief.

- Dining with Rocky Mountaineer
- Where: 1755 Cottrell Street, Vancouver
- When: Dates vary between January 22 – February 7, 2026 from 6:00pm to 10:30pm
- Details: A Rocky Mountaineer evening will begin at their exclusive Vancouver station, where guests can catch a glimpse of their 35-year history before being welcomed onto the upper level of the railcar to enjoy cocktails and amuse bouche. Then, head downstairs to enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of their galley kitchen. The three-course dinner and tour, with optional wine pairings, cost $75.00 per person.
- Omakase Experience at COAST
- Where: 1054 Alberni Street, Vancouver
- When: Dates vary between January 21 – January 29, 2026 starting at 6:00pm
- Details: Coast is hosting an intimate omakase-style evening led by Chef Henry Kim. This multi-course tasting highlights premium seafood and refined technique, served in a set progression for all guests. Limited seating available, priced at $175 per person.
- Uno Gelato
- Where: 2579 W Broadway, Vancouver
- When: Dates vary between January 22 – February 5, 2026 starting at 6:00pm
- Details: Join in on a flavourful Gelato 101 class — a 1.5-hour, hands-on experience led by a maestro at the Kitsilano gelateria. You’ll explore the art behind authentic Italian gelato and sorbetto, enjoy 10 samples of seasonal creations, and indulge in your choice of cup or cone during class. Guests will take home two pints — one gelato and one sorbetto. Limited to six guests, reserve your spot here. Priced at $94.49 per person.
- Flavours Unveiled

- When: Dates vary between January 30 – January 31, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
- Details: For two nights only, this exclusive 30-person group will tour the Convention Centre kitchen while allowing your taste buds to also take a journey through cuisines inspired by different Vancouver neighbourhoods. Enjoy an interactive reception style event from station to station showcasing a menu prepared by world-class culinary team. Priced at $125 per person plus tax, reserve your spot here.

- Details: The 16th annual Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival returns with a lineup of over 230 delicious and decadent flavours.

Kinton Ramen to Open Five New Locations

- Details: Kinton Ramen is excited to open five new locations – two already opened in Burnaby and the Vancouver Broadway area over the holidays and the rest are to follow this winter. The menu at all locations, developed by Executive Chef Aki Urata, showcases a range of hearty ramen bowls prepared with slow-cooked pork or chicken broth in five distinct styles — Original, Shoyu, Miso, Spicy Garlic, and Spicy Jalapeño — as well as a selection of four vegetarian bowls featuring a 100-percent plant-based broth. Ramen bowls will be served with a choice of thick, thin, or shirataki noodles and finished with traditional and modern toppings.

Michelin-Recommended, Ophelia’s New Mexican Brunch
- Where: 165 W 2nd Avenue, Vancouver
- When: New Menu live, 12:00pm – 3:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays
- Details: Ophelía Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Ophelia, Francisco Higareda, is giving guests a good reason to include the Michelin-Recommended hotspot on their weekend plans by adding new dishes to their beloved Weekend Brunch menu.
- Highlights include an array of Appetizers (Sopa de Tortilla, Aguachile Blanco, Volcanes de Arrecherra), sweet and savoury Entrées (Chilaquiles Rojos o Verdes, Enchiladas Gratinadas, Tres Leches French Toast) as well as an array of Tacos, Sides and Desserts (Churros, Tres Leches Cake, Chocoflan). Available throughout the month, the collaboration introduces a thoughtfully crafted menu of premium, spirit-free cocktails designed to inspire balance, clarity, and connection.
- Options include: Clarity, a refreshing blend of Seedlip Agave, cucumber water, grapefruit, and lavender; Warmth, featuring Seedlip Spice 94 with apple, mango chai lemonade, cinnamon, and ginger; Awaken, a bold combination of Seedlip Grove 42, coffee, chai, pineapple, and orange oil; and the Reset Flight, offering all three creations.
