Lunar New Year Dim Sum Collection from Beaucoup Bakery

“The Year of the Horse often symbolizes optimism and opportunity,” says Betty Hung, who co-owns Beaucoup Bakery with her brother Jacky Hung. “We always look forward to creating unique items for Lunar New Year, and this year is no different. Jacky and I both love dim sum – we grew up eating it with our families every weekend. Our new collection is an ode to “yum cha”.

Select items can now be pre-ordered online:

  • Nian Gao Pop Tart ($5.88) – A sweet take on the classic rice cake, featuring nian gao, peanut butter, and vanilla cream, all inside Beaucoup’s famous croissant pastry.
  • Pork Floss Scallion Croissant ($5.88) – Inspired by the savoury donut rice roll, this croissant is filled with pork floss, kewpie mayo, and scallions, then finished with melted cheese.
  • Golden Garlic Shrimp Croissant ($6.88) – A nod to the beloved garlic spring roll, with shrimp and bacon rolled into croissant pastry, finished with yuzu jam and shrimp crackers.
  • Kabocha Croissant Egg Tart ($6.88) – A twist on a classic egg tart, featuring croissant pastry filled with creamy kabocha custard.
  • Year of the Horse Cookie Box ($38.88 for 18 pieces) – An assortment of salted egg yolk sesame toffee snowballs, peanut puffs, and lotus sablé spirals.
  • Pandan & Durian Cake ($10.88/individual; $58.88 whole) – A celebration cake with layers of coconut streusel, durian crémeux, jasmine tea ganache, and pandan mousse, and nappage.

In addition, Beaucoup Bakery is once again collaborating with Chinatown BBQ and bringing back the popular Bolo BBQ Pork Cruffin (only available during Taste of Chinatown at Chinatown BBQ). It features Beaucoup Bakery’s croissant pastry and brioche filled with onions, BBQ sauce, and Chinatown BBQ’s signature honey-glazed BBQ pork, topped with a bolo bun cookie crust.
