BC Achievement Awards 2026 Nominations Open
The BC Achievement Foundation invites British Columbians to bring remarkable stories to light by nominating outstanding individuals, organizations, and businesses for its 2026 award programs.

BC Achievement Awards 2026 Nominations Open
Through its annual Recognize Remarkable campaign, BC Achievement celebrates excellence, leadership, creativity, and impact – honouring those whose dedication strengthens communities, advances reconciliation, and inspires others to imagine what’s possible.
Nominations are open for all five BC Achievement award programs:
- Community Award
- BC Reconciliation Award
- Indigenous Business Award
- Polygon First Nations Art Award
- Sam Carter Applied Art + Design Award
Nominations are open now until February 15, 2026.
BC Achievement Foundation encourages communities, businesses, and individuals across the province to participate by nominating those whose contributions deserve wider recognition.
BC Achievement amplifies stories that spark dialogue, build understanding, and encourage positive change. “In order for the world to be different, people need to know our truths, and truth comes before reconciliation,” said Phyllis Webstad, 2024 BC Reconciliation Award recipient.
For more than two decades, BC Achievement has recognized individuals and organizations whose work shapes British Columbia’s social, cultural, and economic landscape. Their stories – shared province-wide – serve as inspiration for future leaders, creators, and changemakers.
“It has been such an incredible honour that is still sinking in,” said Rebecca Baker-Grenier 2025 Polygon First Nations Art Award recipient. “A big part of the process is seeing my work the way others see it, to be recognized and validated within this community has been deeply meaningful.”
About BC Achievement Foundation
BC Achievement is an independent foundation established in 2003 that celebrates the spirit of excellence in our province and serves to honour the best of British Columbia.
In addition to the Polygon Award in First Nations Art, the organization presents several established programs, including the Indigenous Business Award, the Applied Art + Design Award, the Community Award and in partnership with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, the BC Reconciliation Award. By recognizing the accomplishments of our province’s entrepreneurs, artists, community leaders, youth and volunteers, BC Achievement’s award programs pay tribute to exceptional people, doing exceptional work, while carving a path forward for others to follow.
