Vancouver Whitecaps to Play in MLS Cup Final
Vancouver Whitecaps FC have just won the Western Conference and advance to the MLS Cup Final against Inter Miami on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Defeating San Diego 3-1, on the road in San Diego, the ‘Caps have made history.
This team has been incredible to watch all season, from their legendary Champions Cup run, through injuries and missing players due to international duties, with over 20 different goal scorers on the squad, the addition of Thomas Müller in the summer, winning their fourth consecutive Canadian Championship, earning the Cascadia Cup, a 7 goal match, All Star appearances, and a heart-stopping semifinal won in penalty kicks last weekend against LAFC in front of a sold out BC Place. Through it all the camaraderie, the joy, the sportsmanship, and heart this team has shown has been like nothing I’ve ever been able to witness before as a Vancouver sports fan — and that says a lot.
In 2011 after attending the first-ever Whitecaps’ MLS match at Empire Field, and then the first matches in the renovated BC Place, John and I decided to become season ticket members and join the Southsiders. We have ridden the high highs and the very low lows but our Whitecaps date nights are always worth it.
