Vancouver’s Autumn Tree Sale

The tree sale this season has 19 varieties of trees, including ornamental, deciduous, coniferous, and fruit trees. Discounted trees, such as Japanese maple, Honeycrisp apple, magnolias, and figs, were selected by the Park Board’s Urban Forestry team to provide a wide range of benefits such as climate adaptability, food production and pollinator habitat suitable to Vancouver’s unique growing conditions.

The Park Board and the City of Vancouver are working to increase urban canopy coverage from 25 per cent to 30 per cent by the year 2050. Vancouver’s urban forest includes all trees in parks, streets and private yards. It is vital for cleaning the air, managing rainwater, providing home for the wildlife and birds, and improving people’s overall health and well-being.

Trees can only be bought online and must be picked up at the Hillcrest Nat Bailey Stadium (at the southern gravel parking lot) on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
