Parade of Lost Souls Thinning of the Veil

Parade of Lost Souls – Thinning of the Veil

The Thinning of the Veil speaks to that liminal space between seen and unseen, the living and the lost – inviting participants to unmask, to remember, and to reveal the creative force that binds this community together.

  • Dates: Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Location: Gathering at the intersection near 1000 Parker Street
    • The exact route will be revealed at the stroke of midnight on October 31st on the website
  • Admission: Free to participate in the parade. There is a fee for afterparties, and you can bring your ticket from one to get into the other.

There will also be workshops throughout October, for a Thriller flash Mob and Parade Dancers.

Parade of Lost Souls Afterparties

While there is a Parade of Little Souls for families, the afterparties are 19+ only.

The Biltmore Cabaret is hosting an afterparty 10:30pm on November 1st. Get tickets for $30-35 before they sell out. Enjoy music, DJs, dancing, and a costume contest.

Strange Fellows Brewing is also hosting an afterparty starting at 10:00pm on November 1st following the parade. They will also have DJs, music, dancing, and your ticket gets you access to their Haunted House Experience.

“We’re working with fifty per cent less funding than last year, so these afterparties are literally fundraisers for the event as well as an incredible time for the community,” says Kat Single-Dain, Artistic Executive Director of The Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret. “A ticket to one of our events is a donation to our non-profit and we need all souls to show up and help keep our beloved tradition alive, or perhaps undead, I should say!”
