Summer Sunsets at Cypress

  • Dates: Open daily June to September from 10:00am to 7:00pm
    • August extended hours until 9:00pm Thursdays to Sundays
  • Location: Cypress Mountain (6000 Cypress Bowl Road, West Vancouver)
  • Tickets: $31 day ride / $99 season ride pass

Ride the Lions Chair and Sky Chair to an elevation of 1,440m (4,720 feet), and enjoy breathtaking 360-degree panoramas of the Howe Sound, Vancouver Island, Vancouver City, North Shore mountains and beyond.

In August, every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday the Lions Chair and Sky Chair are now open until 8:45pm so you can experience the highest lift-accessed sunset viewpoint in Vancouver. Take in the 360 views at the golden hour of sunset.

Tips:

  • Dress for mountain conditions as the temperatures drop as the sun sets and you are riding an open chair.
  • You can grab a snack at the Alpine Outpost at the top of Sky Chair or dinner at the base of the mountains at Crazy Raven Bar & Grill.
