Floating Concert for Indigenous Ocean Protection

  • Date: Friday, June 27, 2025 at 6:30pm
  • Location: In the waters off Jericho Beach, Vancouver
  • Tickets: Available now for $15–$25

Grab your SUP, kayak, canoe, or just a beach blanket, and enjoy this a one-of-a-kind floating concert in support of Indigenous-led ocean protection. The stage will be a sunset-lit tall ship in the water and you can experience the entertainment on the water or from the beach.

All proceeds support RAVEN Trust‘s legal defence fund for the Heiltsuk Nation, who are in court fighting for ocean protection after the 2016 Nathan E. Stewart oil spill. RAVEN works to support Indigenous Nations who are upholding their rights in court. A win for the Heiltsuk could toughen oil spill regulations from coast to coast to coast across Canada and set a precedent for Aboriginal title to the foreshore and seabed. It would strengthen Heiltsuk jurisdiction in the courts so they can manage their territory according to Heiltsuk laws.
